I am certain they are not holding the food at a safe temperature. I really think they need a visit from the health inspector. On the upside they did offer me a drink while I was in the restaurant so thats something. The catfish was completely raw when I bit in to it, the food was mostly room temperature even though I was there right as it opened, the crab was horrendous, the peel and eat shrimp were somehow turned in to some sort of nasty gluey substance, the potatoes and spinach both tasted like dirt. I wouldn't eat most of that garbage for free though. I was excited about a seafood buffet and price for military is great. No big deal as I didn't want a drink anyway. I assume repeat business is a key area of focus for them so they cater to the regulars a little more then the unfamiliar faces. The staff seemed very focused on chatting with certain individuals. Casino is bigger and nicer than expected. Would not stay at the gold king because you have to drive to the casino. I was never offered a drink in several hours of playing. They need to simplify reservations for this. I've visited much better Casinos in the area. Maybe get better staff.My experience in the Casino itself was average. You have to chase down the waiting staff to get a 'free drink' I will not recommend this casino. They lost ALOT of money that night and the free drinks promised by the promotion of the casino, was a joke. My clients didn't have that great of a time either. It was not only rude but a good way to make sure I and everyone I take up to Cripple Creek to NEVER go to the Wild Wood. She bent over and was making fun of me to other guests at the card table. One of the bar maids, a heavy set lady was eyeing me and watching me walk around. My husband was an accomplished musician and so are my kids. As I walked around(while on duty) I thought the guitar bar was very cool. Now, I have never gambled at a casino before, and took the opportunity as an adventure to see what a casino was like.

I was wearing his black leather jacket, so I was sporting the 80's look a bit. I made a promise to stick around until they were done to take them home as they didn't want to ride the shuttle.

One evening, I had a request for two clients from out of town to take them from the Marriot to Cripple Creek's Wildwood Casino.
